Ocean Eye Care was founded by Dr. Jay Taylor II in 2021 when he took his passion for patient care and combined it with his 30 years of optometric experience. He built his practice to provide quality healthcare with a flexible, personalized approach. When you visit Ocean Eye Care, it feels like you are catching up with good friends. We take great pride in providing our community with high-quality, patient-centric care and education. Our on-site optical is stocked with frames to please any style and price point.

Dr. Taylor has hand-selected his team to include Dr. Rachel Hartman, Mark Courtney, our contact lens specialist, Beth Griffith, our certified optician, and a team of highly skilled ophthalmic technicians. An able administrative staff keeps our thriving optometry clinic running efficiently.
